ieaslogoA Don Bosco institution, is a dynamic and co –educational school serving the needs of students since 2002. One enjoys a friendly, caring and safe environment where everyone is made welcome.

The school was founded by the Salesians of Don Bosco, dedicated to the education of youth. The Salesians’ daily presence in school life enriches the overall development of each student.

We consider each child to be a special member of our school community, each of them has something to offer whether it be a friendly smile, sporting abilities or academic abilities. We value each child for their own individual qualities. Every child is proud to proclaim,

“I am born for Greater Things”

Desmond Tutu who received the Nobel Peace Prize in 1984 said “Hope is being able to see that there is light despite all of the darkness.”

Four days have gone by and those who live and work within the city of Paris have gotten on with their lives. After all, isn’t that what we are supposed to do when we face a tragedy or a great loss—go on! But will we ever be able to simply go on? Something changed that day on the 13th of November and that will never simply go away.

With a deep feeling of gratitude to God, our management, staff, parents and students that I pen these few words on the very day all of us are overjoyed on receiving the “good news” about the excellent and enhancing results of our Grade XII students at the CBSE Board Exam 2015.

It only confirms our belief that the hard-work of our students – teachers combine, pays rich dividend.

Educational Benefits Of Digital Photography

Nowadays, children’s every day experiences encompass so much digital technology, computer games, programmable and remote control toys as well as interactive whiteboards once they start at school.

Digital cameras are another area where interactive technology has become available at very low cost for even the youngest of children. Parents and educators are seeing kids digital cameras as more than fun toys, they are seeing them as a way to encourage children in a range of educational and developmental activities.

Learning to use a digital camera can provide even shy and withdrawn children with a boost to their self-esteem. It can help children from a diverse cultural background to share experiences using pictures – the saying ‘a picture paints a thousand words’ is certainly true with youngsters who will enjoy talking about pictures and find a medium to express their thoughts, feelings and beliefs.

This shared activity also helps to develop vocabulary skills and children grow in confidence being able to ‘take center-stage’ within a familiar group of children or family members where they feel comfortable and at-ease.
