🧩 Purpose & Philosophy

Class assemblies are an integral part of the school’s efforts to develop:

  • Public speaking
  • Confidence and stage presence
  • Team spirit
  • Value education
  • Awareness of current events, culture, and moral themes

They are student-led with teacher guidance and promote participation, discipline, and creativity.


🗓 Assembly Structure

  • Conducted regularly (often weekly or rotationally by class)
  • May include:
    • Prayer
    • School Anthem
    • Theme-based presentations
    • Skits, songs, speeches, or thought of the day
    • National anthem and updates/news

🧠 Student Participation

Students contribute through:

  • Anchoring/hosting the assembly
  • Performing short plays or skits
  • Delivering value-based messages
  • Singing or presenting special items (poems, facts, etc.)

Participation in class assemblies earns points toward:

  • General Proficiency Awards
  • House Competitions

➡️ Award Points: 5 points per assembly (as noted in the GP criteria)
