IEAS Excels in CBSE Class XII Results 2020

The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) and the Class 12 board exam 2019-20 students from Indian English Academy School were elated at the sight of their results which were announced on Monday (13/7/20) after a long wait which seemed endless for the students, parents and teachers. The school mantra of regular tests, homework, motivation, proper guidance, counselling along with remedial measures has brought us the desired results in the CBSE Board Examination. It is indeed heart-warming to note our excellent performance in the CBSE Board Examination 2020.

The highlights of Class XII result 2019-20 are as follows:

Forty eight students appeared for the Examination.
Sakina Idrees Fakhruddin topped in the science stream with 94.2%. Christy John Biju, Maryam Zubair Burud and Mariya Theres Manoj stood second with 94% and Leon Samuel Barboza stood third with 93.2% in the science stream.

Swetha Sathyanath topped in the commerce stream with 95.4%. Shania Martha Pereira stood second with 94.4% and Nihaal Thahseeb stood third with 93.4% in the commerce stream.

The following are the subject toppers:

Swetha Sathyanath with 98 in English;

Christy John Biju, Maryam Zubair Burud, Sakina Idrees Fakhruddin, Mariya Theres Manoj with 94 in Maths;

Christy John Biju, Maryam Zubair Burud, Alino Luke Hans and Hitarth Rameshbhai Patel with 95 in Physics;

Christy John Biju with 94 in Computer Science;

Christy John Biju, Maryam Zubair Burud, Alino Luke Hans and Sakina Idrees Fakhruddin with 95 in Chemistry;

Maryam Zubair Burud, Sakina Idrees Fakhruddin and Mariya Theres
Manoj with 93 in Biology;

Swetha Sathyanath with 96 in Informatics;

Swetha Sathyanath topped in Accountancy with a score of 92, she also is topped in Economics and Business with a score of 95.

The following students have scored above 90% overall:
Science stream: Christy John Biju, Joel Francisco Fernandes, Maryam Zubair Burud, Alino Luke Hans, Leon Samuel Barboza, Sakina Idrees Fakhruddin, Twisha Ashok Kumar Puruswani, Mariya Theres Manoj and Hitarth Rameshbhai Patel.

Commerce stream: Swetha Sathyanath, Shania Martha Pereira, Nihaal Thahseeb and Adam Domanaco Cruz.

Out of the 48 students who appeared for the examination, the average score of the science group – 89.48 %

(18 distinction) commerce group – 84.67 % (28 distinction and 2 first class)
