‘It’s time to start something new and trust the magic of beginnings.’

 The first Staff orientation for the academic year 2022-2023 was held on 30th March 2022, at 9 am. A total of 130 staff members were present for the programme. Our Rector and Director Rev. Fr.Derrick Misquita, our Principal Rev. Fr. Bosco D’Mello, Sec. Vice Principal Mr. Jijo Abraham, Pri.Vice Principal Ms. Arlette D’Souza and the KG coordinator Ms. Murietta along with the office and support staff were present. Fr.Bosco D’Mello invoked the blessings of the Almighty on all present and also announced the theme for the new academic year ‘DO EVERYTHING THROUGH LOVE, NOTHING THROUGH CONSTRAINT’.

            In keeping with the teachings of Don Bosco, our rector and director Rev. Fr. Derrick Misquita enlightened the staff with his words of wisdom encouraging the faculty to see Education as a Vocation. He welcomed and introduced the new teachers and communicated some rules and regulations for the new academic year. 

Our counselors Mrs.Rene Pinto and Mrs.Bertilla Vaz next took a session on “Team Management and recognizing different disorders in students.” This was done through role play, building structures with newspapers and quizzes. 

Finally, our Principal Rev. Fr. Bosco D’Mello guided the staff with certain do’s and don’ts for the upcoming year.

The meeting ended on a pleasant note with no clarifications being asked for by the staff.
